Our Story

We are of those not-quite-hidden gems you're always hoping to find, but seldom do.

Our restaurant is located in a small, red, low-slung building at 1203 Kirkwood Highway. Our place isn't fancy and doesn't have the glitzy decor but we promise you that the sushi that you will find here is fresh and the fish is sliced with care.

What our guests say

"I was traveling from the west coast and craving some sushi. I have never eaten in Wilmington before but I pass by on every trip out this was. Yelp did me solid. I was greeted by 3 people at once- very much a family business vibe. Food was phenomenal. I ate with my eyes as much as I did with my mouth. I mostly had sashimi but the white swan roll was exquisite. One of the chef's made me an extra plate of yellowtail belly and said it was on the house! That aside I would have given 5 stars regardless, but that definitely put them over the edge and secured it. Prices were definitely fair for good quality sushi."

Ronak P. on Yelp

"Delicious, quick, clean. Doesn't get better than that. We had miso soup, cali roll, tuna roll, spring rolls, salad and tempura. This food is exceptionally good, one of those hole in the wall joints that blow your socks off. I'd come back just for the salad dressing alone. It's easy to drive right by this place and never see it or know it's there so if you come ( and you should) it's just past the Elsmere firehouse, headed south."

Cathy Wilkins on Facebook

"I love this restaurant, that’s all.... kidding, but seriously the sushi is so good, you’ll want to come here more than you should! Get the avocado bomb, and any of the special rolls. Pork takatsu is SO large, you’ll end up sharing it with someone. Love the soup and salad to start, best dressing ever. Just bring a sweater or jacket, as the AC will chill you pretty quickly."
